What a long and tiring time.  I didn't sleep well the night before my flight so that added to the 8 hours of flying fatigue.  We landed at 6:15 am which made for dawdling away time until hotel check-in.  This all meant that once I hit the hotel I slept off the rest of the day.

Our flight, an Airbus A330, was packed but the Swiss border control is streamlined to the extent that one  is through in about 5 minutes.  A quick ride on the futuristic inter-terminal train brings one to the rail station.  Then a train ride of about 1 hour and I was in Konstanz.  Bus #4 brought me to and from my hotel in Litzelstetten.

I didn't get the WIFI access code until today which was spent having breakfast at 7:30, dressing up in all my foul weather gear, taking the #6 down to Rudolph Diesel Strasse and walking to Radweg Reisen to pick up my bike and fit it with GPS and Camera, and finally following a GPS calculated route back to my hotel.  All this in a warm but constant drizzle.

Tomorrow, I leave the Volapuk in Litzelstetten and bike to Diessenhofen, Switzerland.  Weather forecast is for fair and sunny.
